Davidson Style Scope Mounts for the British Whitworth Sharpshooters Rifle

We are offering a version of the Davidson Scope Mounting system for the Confederate Whitworth Sharpshooters Rifle used during the War Between the States. We have recreated these from the original machinists drawings, changing only the rings by allowing a scope to be fitted without having to solder it in place. As were the originals the scope with the rings attached are removable from the bases. We recommended the use of either a Weaver G4 or Weavermodel 344 3/4" 4X scope. We sometimes have these in stock. If not they can be found on most of the gunbroker sights. These come with all of the components required for mounting along with a set of instructions. In addition the Davidson system can be mounted to any of the Enfield rifle variations.
